Japan - Tetote Factory Japanese Bakery

Update: Due to complex issues between the management of Pacific Plaza and the landlords, the whole complex was closed down in spring 2011.  Tetote is planning to re-open at a new premises in South Ealing in August 2011.  check their website for further info http://www.dokiltd.co.uk/tetotefactory.html

Tetote Factory Japanese Bakery is unsurprisingly, a Japanese bakery.  Situated on the ground floor of the Pacific Plaza in Wembley, the delicious aromas drifting through the bakery doors make it impossible not to venture inside for some baked goodies.                                                                                 Offering an array of Japanese style breads, sweet and savory buns and coffees. There is something for everyone.  The staff are super friendly and the layout means you can see right into the bakery to watch the staff at work.  There is no seating in this small shop, but you can head upstairs to the food court to enjoy your coffee and bun in comfort.

My favorites are the Melon Bun (£1.20) - crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside and  the Beef Curry Bun (£1.40) filled with minced spiced beef.

  2. this probably is one of the best kept secrets in London. It deserved so much more.
I discovered this bakery a couple of months ago and since than I have made every effort to revisit it. The smell of freshly baked buns and breads draw you into the bakery like magnets. The first impression did not disappoint, so far I have tried almost every single buns and bread it offers and there is none that I dislike, I love them all.
very friendly staffs and the buns are not pricey by London's standard and offer a fresh savoury experience in all its offerings.

  3. Agreed with previous comments - Tetote bakery is awesome. I like the fact that the size of each bun is not too big (which encourages you to try more varieties). So today I've bought myself a blueberry brioche, tuna sweetcorn bun, and melon bun. This bakery is now open in South Ealing, which is 5 minutes walk from home. I think I'm in love...
