Thailand: Spicy Thai

Update: Due to complex issues between the management of Pacific Plaza and the Land Lords, the whole complexs has been closed down as of spring 2011.

Spicy Thai is tiny a kisok in the far corner of the Pacific Plaza food court in Wembley.

With pitures of thier reasonably priced dishes adorning the front of the kiosk making a choice is easy.

We had Pad Kee Mao with chicken, green beans, chillis and bamboo shoots, which would have been very nice if it hadn't been drowned in cooking oil. However the Thai Green Curry was excellent - hot and spicey with peas, green beans, green peppers and aubergene and served with rice and a small salad.

With food quality this hit and miss Spicy Thai is never going to hit the best of lists, but if you're in the area and fancy a Green curry, it's not a bad option (having said that it's actualy your only option in Wembley!)

  1. I'm always on the look out for really good Thai London restaurants, Spicy Thai sounds like a quirky little venue with a pretty solid offering. Definitley on my to do list.
